Lucero “Luci” Torres graduated from Lake Placid High School in Highlands County in 2014. She attended the University of Central Florida, where she was the Vice President of ALPFA, a business organization for Hispanic students, a teacher’s aide at UCP of Central Florida, a school for children with special needs, and completed internships with Boeing and Verizon. She graduated in May 2018 with summa cum laude honors and a bachelor’s in finance. She works in Microsoft’s Global Treasury & Financial Services division in Seattle, Washington.
