Alfonso Mejia attended Charles W. Flanagan High School in Broward County. He was a member of the National Honor Society, earning a 4.93 GPA, served as Class President, and was a founding member of the Spanish National Honor Society. In 2012, Alfonso began his studies at the University of Florida, majoring in finance with a minor in entrepreneurship. At UF, he was involved in business school student organizations such as Florida Leadership Academy, Heavener Leadership Challenge, and the Undergraduate Consulting Club. Aside from campus involvement, Alfonso also studied and interned abroad in Madrid, Spain, and was part of the Management Leadership for Tomorrow Career Prep Class of 2015, where he could secure internships with Wells Fargo and Google.
Alfonso graduated cum laude from UF in 2016. He shortly began his career at Google as an Associate Account Strategist in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he helped businesses make the best use of the Google Ads product to increase revenue and awareness. Alfonso has been a Partner Operations Manager at YouTube in San Francisco, California, and worked with the top Latin American/US Hispanic content partnerships as a solutions consultant. He currently works for YouTube in New York City, NY.
