Asia Lavender is the Associate Community Organizer for Citizens of Louisville Organized and United Together (CLOUT). As an organizer, Asia provides training and leadership coaching to citizens in faith communities to challenge injustice and achieve positive, systematic change. A proud Florida State University alumna, Asia most notably served as a senator in Student Government and President of the Unconquered Scholars program while at Florida State. In her spare time, Asia uses her English degree and is currently working on a set of poems to be published within the year.

The Leaders for Life Fellowship decision is made by a selection committee based on scholarship criteria and student qualifications, without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristics.
