Benjamin Carpenter graduated from C. Leon King, International Baccalaureate High School in Hillsborough County. He participated in the Tampa Thunder Soccer Team as captain and a member of the NHS and French Honor Society. Ben also founded the non-profit company “Ben’s Mends” and was awarded the Ernst & Young “Youth Entrepreneur of the Year” and Xerox’s “Award for Innovation and IT.” Ben held a 6.32 GPA and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2017. He worked his “Dream Job” as an Associate Show Mechanical Engineer with Disney Imagineering, Orlando, Florida, until his passing in 2019.
