Corey Smith dually enrolled at Florida Southwestern College, where he had a 4.87 GPA and was ranked 8th of 431 students. Corey volunteered at the Lee Memorial Hospital in the Radiology / Oncology department and helped with their annual blood drive. He also helped to build homes with Habitat for Humanity, fed people experiencing homelessness, and participated in the Take Stock in Children STRIDES for Education 5K. He was involved with the JROTC program and on the JROTC Drill Team /Leadership Team, the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir, and the Youth Ministry. Corey was also a member of the National Honor Society and held office as a Parliamentarian and Secretary. He studied International Affairs and Public Health at Florida State University and graduated in the spring of 2021.
