Gisselle ranked 14th out of 453 students in her class, had a weighted GPA of 5.28, and was dually enrolled at Florida Southwestern State. Gisselle was a member of the Key Club and a student at the Immokalee Technical College patient care program. Gisselle’s love for science and helping others is evident through her enrollment as a four-year scholar in the SSTRIDE (Science Students Together Reaching Instructional Diversity and Excellence) Program of Florida State University. Gisselle attends Florida Gulf Coast University and plans to major in Public Health. At FGCU, she is an Office Assistant for the TRIO Student Support Services office, a member of the Latin American Student Organization (LASO), a member of the Mexican American Student Alliance (MASA) , and serves as the Vice President for Student Farmworker Alliance (SFA).
