Ha Tran is one of the five inaugural members of the L4L Fellowship program. She attended Pace High School in Santa Rosa County. She attended undergraduate school at Duke University in 2015, where she majored in neuroscience and global health. After college, Ha moved to Singapore to work in medical education. She then returned to the US and attended medical school at Florida International University College of Medicine. After graduating from medical school, she continued her medical training in pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She is currently completing her fellowship in neonatal/perinatal medicine. In her career as a neonatologist, Ha is interested in global health and improving infant mortality in developing countries.
She lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Jeff, who is completing his surgical residency training. When we are not at work, they spend their time cooking, hiking, and traveling to see friends and family.
