Pablo ranked 24th of 198 at South Walton High School, with a 4.31 weighted GPA.  He attended the first-ever STEAM Engineering Magnet School in Walton County and became the Class President in 9th – 11th grades. As student body president in 12th grade, Pablo was also the Key Club president.  He founded the Beta Club in 11th grade, and was involved in  among other extracurriculars, the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, School advisory council, Superintendent’s roundtable, Mental Health Awareness Club co-founder and Vice President, Link Crew Leader, American Legion Boy Senator, Vice President of the Mock Trial Team, and attended Yale University’s United Nations model.  Pablo currently attends Florida State University pursuing a Civil- Environmental Engineering degree at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. At FSU, he became involved with the Quest Scholar Program within the Center of Academic Retention and Enhancement (CARE), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and the Environmental Service Program. He is a Take Stock In College Student Ambassador serving as a postsecondary degree attainment influencer creating content for Take Stock in College. Last summer Pablo completed his first engineering internship at Walton County’s Planning and Development department and worked alongside county professionals under their Stormwater management team. He recently earned a minor in Mathematics, and is currently preparing for the E.I. exam, as well as earning more internship experience, looking to graduate in 2025.
