Sidney graduated Interlachen High with a GPA of 3.64, was a member of the National Honor Society, and was an early admissions student at Santa Fe College in her senior year.
With over 100 hours of community service, Sidney was a local elementary school tutor who assisted with reading and mathematics. She also volunteered at her church, the Humane Society, and Century 21, a daycare for low-income families.
As a junior varsity captain, Sidney played volleyball for four years at Interlachen High School. She also competed in soccer for three years and trained in weightlifting for two years. In addition, she worked at Harvey’s Supermarket and Winn Dixie Supermarkets and was a summer school aid for two years.
Attending Florida State University after completing some coursework at Tallahassee Community College, she plans to receive a bachelor’s degree in nursing and further her education with a master’s degree.
