Veronia enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Spruce Creek High School, ranking 12th among the 557 seniors with a GPA of 4.78. She participated as a National Honor Society member, Spanish Honor Society, World Language Festival, Beta Club, Orchestra Solo, Ensemble, and Key Club.
Veronia served as the Orchestra Leadership Training vice president and participated in the FUTURES Foundation for Volusia County’s Schools’ Tomorrow’s Leaders Program, which inspired her to take on additional responsibility and gain new confidence. She loves volunteering in the community as an intern at the Museum of Arts and Sciences, church, and community clean-up, and she has worked at the Port Orange Public Library. Her dream college, the University of Florida, is her new home to major in Biology with a Spanish for the Professions Certificate and eventually become a trauma surgeon.
